FIVE EMPOWERING EXPERIENCES FOR EACH GROUP OF YOUR "Sheroes"

SheROSE is a proprietary program created by You Night Empowering Events -- an award-winning organization based in New Orleans, LA, who has helped thousands of women emotionally cope after a cancer diagnosis. SheROSE is comprised of five empowering program experiences, with activities spread out over the calendar year. Your team simply invites 25 of your current or former patients into the class of celebrants. Together, these women work through each program activity. There are a total of six in-person activities, and eight Zoom activities. Therefore, the time commitment by each participant is minimal (yet VERY effective). SheROSE results in camaraderie, and a methodical approach to rebuilding self-esteem and confidence. Read about our four program experiences below:

HER JOURNEY BEGINS WITH FINDING A STRONG TRIBE

PROGRAM EXPERIENCE #1

The first in-person activity bringing the class members together for the first time.

In this first in-person experience of the SheRose journey, the participants meet for the first time to learn about each other's journeys. Being with others who "get it" provides an avenue to express your feelings, fears, and emotions in a safe and understanding environment.
Coming together is important to reducing the feeling of isolation. Cancer can make you feel isolated or alone in your experience. Being part of a support group helps you realize that you're not alone; there are others facing similar challenges and triumphs.
Our small group journey with one another produces hope and encouragement: Seeing others who are further along in their journey or who have overcome similar obstacles can offer hope and encouragement. It reinforces the idea that there is life beyond cancer and that there is hope for recovery and a fulfilling life post-treatment.

PROGRAM EXPERIENCE #2

HER JOURNEY BEGINS WITH ARTISTIC EXPRESSION

Your 25 Sheroes will begin their journey with "ScART" our group painting experience that uses the power of the mind and art for self-reflection and discovery.
Participants will be given at-home homework activities, designed to help them look at their trauma and surgery scars through a new lens.
Then, all 25 class members will come together for a 3 hour in-person event, where the homework activities are transferred to canvas and beautiful abstract works of art emerge (using scars as the design).
This event includes sharing time where the participants reflect on what they have been through while building bonds and discovering individual and collective strength.

In this part of the SheRose journey, the participants who bonded in the ScART experience move on to small groups where they work through a series of exercises designed to help them release trauma or negative thought patterns.
Story Crafting is a six-week on-line group experience that uses the power of the pen to craft a story that is far beyond the cancer journey. Participants will discover the power they possess, as inspirational legacy stories emerge. This is an award-winning program with proven results.

Empowering Makeover, Photoshoot & Video Interviews

PROGRAM EXPERIENCE #4

SHE IS REMINDED HOW BEAUTIFUL SHE TRULY IS

Our team works with participants on professional makeovers, a photo shoot, and an empowering video interview.
Confidence and a sense of beauty is an inside job, but cancer can rob women of what makes a woman feel beautiful. Our photo and video shoot helps participants step outside of their comfort zones in order to emerge and grow.
In this part of the SheRose journey, our team of coaches help remind women of the beauty they possess. Women often forget how beautiful they are, but once they re-discover their beauty, this can positively impact their personal lives, social lives and professional lives.
The Video Interview helps women have confidence in front of the camera, and helps them articulate their powerful messages to inform and advocate.

PROGRAM EXPERIENCE #5

SHE STEPS CONFIDENTLY IN GRACE TO HEAL HERSELF AND PAY IT FORWARD TO HELP OTHERS

DESIGNED TO BE YOUR ANNUAL SIGNATURE EVENT AND FUNDRAISER FOR YOUR FOUNDATION OR LOCAL CAUSE

Your honorees -- once patients and now role models -- will stand tall as a sisterhood, sharing their ScART artwork, their stories and portraits
Your brand on this annual program and event sets you apart in your community
This celebration event can be as large or small as you design it and can be used as a fundraiser for your foundation or a local charity. Ideally, you would celebrate your SheRoes at an annual event that you already host, or you can create a new event. Design it as a wine/cheese, luncheon or dinner gala. This part of the experience is the responsibility of the host. Our team can be contracted to assist in a minor or major role, based on your desired program outfits.
